Achieving Parish Incorporation

The Rev. Shaun O'Connor is Rector of Bona Vista Newfoundland.  He also serves Gander which is 3 hours away.

His parish has just been successfully incorporated.  He is also helping Gander take this important step.  When this step is achieved a Parish becomes a full legal entity.  Its Parish Council or governing body manages all local affairs of the Parish.  It becomes eligible to send Delegates to Synod.  It has its own bank account, can own property, and apply for charitable status to give tax receipts.
