Ministry in Saskatoon

The Reverend Segun Adebogun was interviewed at a recent Explorers Nationwide Zoom.

Segun with his wife Sylvia and children began as a house church and invited other families to join them.  The Reverend Janet Bigland-Pritchard had a structure set up as St. Francis Community which struggled during the shut down.  They combined their efforts and now meet at 2 P.M. in a rented church facility.  Although Segun had served in the past in Nigerian churches, he and his parish aligned with the Anglican Diocese of Canada because their plan for Ascension Saskatoon is to minister to all.

Segun is a tent-maker and serves full time in insurance for the Saskatchewan government.
