Good News from St. Thomas Mission at the University of British Columbia

Fr. Geoff Chapman is reporting growth in attendance at services and increased interest in the activities of the community.  Fr. Geoff and Deacon Paul Robinson work together on leading this congregation of 30 to 50 mostly young people.  It meets at University Chapel on the campus, where Geoff+ also serves as Pastor. Several students come from nearby Regent College.  Many others are foreign students coming from all over the world.  Deacon Paul has recently been appointed as Youth and Student Pastor at University Chapel. University Chapel is an Evangelical congregation which provides the venue for St. Thomas Mission.   University Chapel has extensive multi-cultural ministries and has recently launched a new Mandarin service. Fr. Geoff reports that the new ACNA Book of Common Prayer is a valued resource for St. Thomas Mission.  A one year program studying the new ACNA Catechism is also in planning at University Chapel.
